Our Plan for 2021: A Safe Physical Ride

June 2021 Update

We are excited to confirm that this year’s Northern Pass will be happening in-person, but we are keeping a close eye on government regulations to provide further guidance on what riders can expect and help everyone plan the event that’s right for them.

The Northern Pass team is in contact with the Town of Bracebridge and the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit to ensure we are well prepared for all scenarios under the Ontario reopening plan. It is our goal to make sure we can exceed the projected safety regulations for our event on August 7th & 8th.

Enhanced Safety Measures include:

• Mask wearing on the event site
• Ensuring COVID protocol specialist is on site
• Additional measures for social distancing and sanitization
• We have also planned for a number of scenarios that should allow us to ride whether we are restricted to groups of 25 riders or upwards of 100+ on site at a time

We expect to have a major update to confirm the exact numbers allowed based on gathering limits and parameters by early July 2021, so we will share our full plans and event details soon after.

Thank you to everyone for your patience as we work through these unprecedented times. We are looking forward to seeing everyone this August.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Northern Pass Event Director Brendan Ennis at brendan.ennis@thepmcf.ca.

Together, we will not lose momentum!
